Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships by implementing Sales strategies for approved products consistent with Ipsen compliance standards as well as all applicable legal requirements for those key targeted Health Care Providers (HCP's) and hospital systems within an assigned territory.
Knowledge, abilities & experience
Define and Execution of Account Plans
- Implement Ipsen's Key Account business planning to achieve optimal sales performance
This includes:
- Strong strategic thinking and planning skills to deliver business returns within the territory.
- Develop and implement robust key account and territory business plans centred on performance (Market Share) in order to meet or exceed territory productivity requirements.
- Adapt selling style & approach to match the sales environment, such as virtual engagement
- Undertake accurately and timely reporting activities including detailing call records, sales analysis; customer, promotion and competitor feedback and regulatory requirements.
- Implementing Brand plan and strategies in the sales organization.
- Collect actionable insights from interactions with stakeholders in order to develop brand strategies and actions that can benefit patients
Account Management
- To manage the accounts inventory level to ensure assigned products are sufficiently stocked
- To ensure accurate Sales Forecasting is achieved on a monthly basis
- Understands hospital committee structure, P&T process, treatment and discharge protocols and hospitals listing process as it relates to the customers
- Management of tenders
Ethics & Compliance
- Represent Ipsen's brands in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective manner.
- Lead by example and demonstrate the Ipsen pillars of ethical conduct as set out in the Ipsen Code of Ethical Conduct and all other related Company guidelines.
- Comply with Country/Industry standards on Ethics and Compliance, the Pharmaceutical Code of Conduct and any other applicable regulations and practices.
Knowledge, abilities & experience
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in business major or Pharmaceutical related
- At least five years of documented, fulltime, successful pharmaceutical sales
- Strong existing network of KOLs across Singapore (especially medical oncolgists)
- A good understanding of the Market Access landscape in Singapore is an advantage
- Demonstrated experience in successfully working with a cross functional team of people (a mix of experience, skills set and roles)
- Business Acumen
Key Technical Competencies Required
- Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills along with an ability to be highly adaptive and deal with uncertainty.
- Strong salesmanship with good analytical skills
- A strategic thinker who is selfdriven, resultsoriented who maintains a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
