Job Description
The selected candidate must have a good grasp of Air Navigation Act (ANR) regulations and the assigned duty codes. Besides, the Associate must enhance their understanding of SQ aircraft apparatus, crew size prerequisites, and crew's operational patterns [COPs].
Key Responsibilities
- Be proficient with the Crew Manager [CM] system, crucial for Crew Tracking. Maintain and update crew schedules daily. Address alerts in CM related to ANR, rest, operational, and flight recency promptly to prevent any infringements.
- Manage roster updates for medical absences and on-call activations. Keep an eye on open pairings/COPs to ensure all SQ flights are adequately staffed by effectively managing on-call resources. Provide explanations for any insufficient crew scenarios on SQ flights.
- Implement Load Based Variable Manning based on passenger numbers and aircraft types. Develop COP for on-call activations and SNY COP for crew training. Monitor crew numbers for VVIP & chartered Flights. Arrange tickets for repositioning crew as necessary.
- Submit daily APIS, APP, and CTA to foreign Authorities and uphold compliance with regulations. Address operational issues and crewing needs arising from unexpected flight events. Ensure adherence to ANR regulations on Flight Duty Period [FDP], Flight Time Limitations [FTL], rest requirements, and Collective Agreement for all flights.
- Promptly handle crew requests like medical absences, day-offs, annual leave, compassionate leave, CSR day, flight scheduling issues. Manage crew resignations and reassignment of duties and courses.
- Follow service, safety, and quality protocols at the Control Centre; manage crew steps, ID loss, safety gear, work permits, passports, and Visa needs.
- Aid in IT system improvements at Control Centre, including Crew App, Crew Manager [CMX], and Notifications to Crew [CNC].
- Assist the Duty Manager/Duty AO during crew medical emergencies. Support Crisis Management team in crisis resolution as per the Crisis Management Manual.
- Execute any additional tasks delegated by CC Senior Manager, CCE/AM, and Operations staff training.
Requirements
- Hold a diploma in any field.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Work effectively and independently in a dynamic and challenging environment by managing operational exigencies.
Control Centre Operations; requires 12-hour shifts: a) 0800 hours to 2000 hours and b) 2000 hours to the following day 0800 hours
