The Role:


We are looking for an Analyst to join Antler's investment and portfolio management team in one of our locations in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam or Malaysia), to work closely with our team on sourcing, evaluating, negotiating and managing our investments in future category leading companies.


Antler Southeast Asia invest in companies in the region across multiple sectors at the stages of Pre-Launch, Pre-Seed, Seed and Series A.

Responsibilities
As an Analyst at Antler Southeast Asia, you will:

  • Source and evaluate investment opportunities across Southeast Asia
  • Analyze business plans, markets, industries and technology trends
  • Support diligence on potential investments using a range of quantitative and qualitative tools and methods
  • Assume ownership of the endtoend investment process, including preparation of investment committees and deal execution support
  • Support senior investment team members in management of existing portfolio companies
  • Independently manage and prioritize communications and processes on behalf of our senior investment team members. This includes both internal processes as well as engagements with founders, CEOs and other stakeholders in the ecosystem

Requirements:

  • A degree from a toptier university with 13 years of fulltime work experience in fastpaced environments (i.e., toptier consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital or successful growth startup).
  • Ability to take full ownership and selfdrive in a fastpaced environment.
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex ideas.
  • Ability to perform analytical exercises (e.g., market sizing)
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Demonstrated interest in startups and technology.
  • Confident relationship builder, with an ability to build trust with founders and develop strong relationships in the VC ecosystem.
