Publishing Operations Lead

Responsibilities

  • Manage the games operation and work with different departments to ensure smooth publishing of the games
  • Oversee the entire game release process, including understanding the distribution regulations in the various countries and coordinating the resources across the departments
  • Handle the workflow of the operations and modify the job scope accordingly on Jira / confluence
  • Implement a structured and efficient approach to publishing
  • Ensure clear communications between operations, developers and marketing team throughout the entire publishing process and keeping relevant teams updated
  • Work closely with the monetization manager and the production team to develop events and promotions strategy inside the games
  • Analyze and develop a comprehensive and indepth planning for ingame promotions
  • Coordinate and set up the various ingame communication tools (assets creation, push notifications,...)
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the events and their impact on the retention and revenue of the players
  • Provide feedback on optimizations to the game team
  • Analyze competitors and perform benchmarking
  • Work with internal stakeholders on external vendor sourcing, relationships, management, and business needs
  • Develop and maintain a framework and strategy for supporting existing inmarket titles against the priorities of new development
  • Manage a 25 ppl small team to accomplish high quality game localization, ingame event design, efficient monetisation strategies and competitor analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in publishing operations in the gaming industry
  • Proven experience in launching multiple games in the global market.
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teams across teams and borders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin to communicate with our overseas team
