Primary Objective(s) of Position:

  • Assist to provide/support RFQ from customer and manage existing customers' account

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Respond to request for quotation (RFQ) from client
  • Attend to and followup on customers' enquiries and requests
  • Establish/negotiate with vendors/suppliers for competitive rates for seafreight/airfreight
  • Maintain warehouse inventory accuracy
  • Issue receiving/ delivery/ repacking instruction to the warehouse team
  • Arrange payment to carrier/coloader for import shipment release or export shipment for BL collection
  • Coordinate between warehouse and vendors/suppliers/hauliers for Singapore/overseas import/export/crosstrade clearance
  • Carry out service failure investigation/complaint and ensure corrective and preventive actions are in place
  • Prepare Cost Sheet and Work Orders
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing
  • Any ad hoc duties assigned by management

Person Specification

  • Diploma/Degree in logistic/supply chain management or relevant experience
  • Minimum 1 year of Freight Forwarding experience
  • Knowledge of AED & Tradenet is a plus
  • A sense of fulfillment and enjoyment in deriving solutions for customer's logístical needs
