Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of mechanical & Electrical managers, working with the appointed contractor and inhouse E&I Engineers to maintain and provide electrical & technical process operation supports to achieve safe working and quality products for the petrochemical process plants such as AAL, VAM, CUM plants and VAE/VAEP plant.
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment failures and recommend solutions to avoid recurring issues
  • Evaluate current preventive / predictive maintenance program to identify areas of improvement.
  • Supervise, direct and train technicians to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and production requirements for VAE/VAEP plant extension.
  • Prepare E&I performance reports and evaluates technical proposals if requested
  • Prepare specifications for the purchase of E&I materials or equipment
  • Handle risk assessments/EAIA for various E&I maintenance works
  • Trouble shooting of E&I equipment during emergency situation in the plant
  • Ensure all the work processes are compliant to ISO
  • Other jobs as instructed by Managers

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical or relevant Engineering Disciplines.
  • Preferably with more than 2 years of working experience in related industry.
  • Fresh graduates in chemical study are welcome
