Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in the pharmaceutical sector. This role involves optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring production efficiency and quality, and supporting improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization:
    • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for enhanced efficiency and quality.
    • Implement controls to improve consistency and reduce variability.
    • Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies for operational streamlining.
  • Equipment and Technology:
    • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing equipment and technologies.
    • Supervise equipment installation, commissioning, and validation.
    • Create maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulations.
    • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address quality issues.
    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage projects throughout the lifecycle.
    • Develop plans, budgets, and track project progress.
    • Coordinate with teams for successful project completion.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and cost reduction.
    • Implement improvement initiatives and monitor performance.
    • Provide training to staff on new processes and technologies.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Develop detailed process documentation and SOPs.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for management.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure safety compliance and participate in audits.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
    • Proficiency in process simulation software and CAD tools.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Project management and organizational abilities.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications:
    • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
  • Full-time position.
  • Office and production floor environment.
  • May involve occasional travel, shift work, weekends, and holidays.
