The bank's team draws inspiration from the family's blend of moral values and pragmatism, which remain fundamental to UBP's achievements.MissionAs the ALM Portfolio Manager within the Treasury & Trading (T&T) department, reporting to the Head of Treasury Asia, your mission is to ensure smooth operations.Challenges- Maintain a robust liquidity profile and regulatory ratios within limits
- Execute prudent Assets and Liabilities Management (ALM)
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects and business growth initiativesMain responsibilitiesALM Portfolio Management
  • Manage the bank's ALM portfolios according to Group and Asia guidelines
  • Handle interest rate risk within Risk Department's limits
  • Optimize Net Interest Income (NII) while minimizing risks and costs
  • Support Head of Treasury Asia in ALM strategy formulation and execution
Activity Monitoring
  • Maintain clear and precise trade records
  • Develop and update dedicated activity monitoring tools
  • Propose solutions to enhance Treasury services and T&T operations
Key Interactions
  • Collaborate with Group Treasury for balance sheet monitoring
  • Coordinate with Finance for ALM and regulatory ratios management
  • Work with Middle Office and Back Office for trade settlement
  • Engage with Legal, Compliance, and Risk departments to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Interact with brokers and counterparties for approved product dealings
Compliance and Risk
  • Adhere to laws, regulations, and guidelines by regulatory authorities
  • Update policies related to T&T activities regularly
  • Strictly follow bank policies, procedures, and trading limits
  • Promptly escalate compliance and risk issues
  • Ensure compliance during international trips
Operations
  • Collaborate with Middle Office and Back Office for timely trade settlements
  • Resolve trade disputes promptly
  • Escalate operational issues without delay
Education
  • Degree: Bachelor's
  • Certification: Bachelor's or Master's in Banking and Finance
Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience: Senior level
  • Private banking experience preferred
Language
  • Fluent in English
