Job Title: IT Solutions Specialist at SIA Information Technology Division

Roles & Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be part of a vibrant team dedicated to digitalizing essential business processes within Airline Operations, including Cabin Crew, Pilots, Ops Control, and Safety units. They will be involved in developing and managing a range of IT solutions, from critical systems to mobile apps, with a focus on end-to-end process design, data-driven approaches, and Agile Methodologies.

About the Company: SIA Information Technology Division, a key player in the aviation industry, is seeking a talented individual to join their Operations & Enterprise (Flight Management) department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with business stakeholders to grasp their requirements.
  • Suggest IT solutions that align with business objectives and drive digital transformation.
  • Develop and oversee IT solutions to revolutionize airline operations according to the Ops Digital Roadmap.
  • Collaborate with technology and business units to ensure alignment with digital Enterprise Architecture and IT Application roadmap.
  • Manage product backlog delivery using Agile methodology, monitor metrics, and report to steering committees.
  • Resolve IT issues promptly to minimize disruptions to airline operations.
  • Monitor technology roadmap for upgrades and implement changes in collaboration with business users.
  • Identify and evaluate innovative applications and technologies for potential adoption.
  • Perform any other relevant ad-hoc duties.
  • This role involves individual contribution to the team.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Must be a Certified Scrum Master.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project delivery and Vendor Management using Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a skilled team environment.
  • Preference for prior involvement in software product design or development.
