**Job Description: Sales Engineer - EV Charging Operator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Engineer to join our team at NovoWatt Pte Ltd.

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by actively engaging with clients, conducting site evaluations, preparing quotations, and providing expert guidance on our EV charging solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of the electric vehicle revolution, contributing to sustainable transportation infrastructure.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site evaluations to assess the feasibility of EV charging station installations. Consider factors such as location, power supply, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to develop accurate and competitive quotations for potential clients.
  • Engage with clients to understand their unique requirements and provide tailored EV charging solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, providing technical guidance, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to address client objections, highlight the value of our products and services, and finalize deals.
  • Lead the project management process for order fulfillment, coordinating installation and ensuring timely delivery of EV charging solutions.
  • Supervise and coordinate general workers involved in the installation process, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide informed insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to provide feedback and insights from client interactions to enhance our offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our EV charging solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Higher NITEC, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in the renewable energy or technology sector.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Problemsolving mindset, with the ability to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for sustainable energy solutions and the electric vehicle industry.
