Job Description

  • Collaborate with Global Operations (GOPS) teams, focusing on enhancing cost efficiency, reducing cycle time, streamlining material flow, enhancing quality, and implementing efficient manufacturing practices for new products and their transition to mass production.
  • Develop test sequences, series, and parallel testing methods.
  • Define essential test requirements and success criteria for new components like Pressure transducers, Power supply units, MFC/MFM, leak tests, etc.
  • Create testing checklists and procedures in alignment with product specifications and optimal manufacturing standards.
  • Propose design solutions for test jigs and fixtures to minimize test duration and labor hours.
  • Recommend automated test approaches to decrease cycle time and labor hours.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and address manufacturing test challenges.
  • Resolve PLC testing issues, Robot teaching, calibrations, and leakage test failures.

Prerequisites

  • Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in New Product Introduction or New Product Transfer roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, showcasing the ability to influence and drive organizational changes.
  • Expertise in implementing Modular testing, System level integrated testing, and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with PLC software codes, System software scripts, etc.
  • Adept at reading system electrical and Pneumatic schematics.
  • Hands-on experience in system leak testing and resolving leakage issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven track record of driving and implementing beneficial changes within an organization.

Professional Experience

  • Prior experience in the Semiconductor/Capital Equipment industry within manufacturing test and engineering positions in equipment assembly and testing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of bill of material structure, including Product structure, Family tree, Generic vs. Customization, Merge in Transit, and revision changes.
  • Thorough understanding of system functional testing in both electrical and mechanical aspects.
  • Proficiency in testing and troubleshooting at the system and modular levels.
  • Experience with SAP and/or major ERP/MRP systems and processes at the user level.
  • Familiarity with new product introduction systems, processes, and standards.
