Job Opening: Regional Finance Controlling Senior Manager

Our Regional Finance Team is currently looking for a dynamic Finance Controlling Senior Manager to take charge of overseeing Q-Commerce controllers across multiple countries. This role involves providing insightful analysis to drive crucial business decisions alongside key stakeholders. Based in Singapore, the Finance Controlling Senior Manager will directly report to the Finance Controlling Lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in business partnering activities with local and regional stakeholders in APAC markets and within the Q-Commerce sector
  • Join a high-powered Regional Finance Team to ensure efficient finance processes, compliance with accounting standards, and timely month-end closing
  • Supervise the accurate and timely production of financial reports
  • Act as a focal point for process optimization, standardization, and enhancing reporting efficiency through the implementation of new accounting processes and guidelines
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Business Insights teams to deliver precise and value-driven analysis influencing estimates, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Lead financial and information analysis, evaluating the financial implications of various variables and key metrics
  • Support ad-hoc projects, system implementations, and drive process automation to enhance business efficiency
  • Provide guidance to local stakeholders on group accounting policies, audit, tax, and statutory requirements as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 to 8 years of finance/accounting experience, ideally from an audit firm or in-house role
  • Hold a university degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Demonstrate practical knowledge of IFRS, with preferred qualifications such as ACCA/CPA/ACA
  • Proven experience in team management
  • Highly skilled in advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, vLookups, etc.) and SAP
  • Proficient in business English
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical capabilities
  • Background in fast-paced e-commerce/technology environments is advantageous
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving
  • Exhibit a positive work ethic, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to teamwork
