Singapore DOVER COURT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (PTE.) LTD. Full time
We are looking for Supply Teachers who can commit on an adhoc basis. Daily rate will apply.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Fully support the school's Safeguarding policy and know the reporting procedures to follow in case of a Child Protection issue
  • To promote the 'Be Ambitious' programme

Learning and Teaching

  • Deliver engaging lessons accross Primary or Secondary classes lessons.
  • Successfully manage the behaviour of the class following the school's behaviour policy.
  • Foster positive relationships with students by being a role model and ensure students achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Primar and Secondary and the rest of the team to ensure the smooth running of the school day and that students achieve the best outcomes.
  • Act as an ambassador by being punctual and professional at all times.
  • Be responsible for personal health and safety and know how to report H&S concerns

Planning and Preparation

  • Plan and prepare for lessons, conduct appropriate assessments and use data to plan forward for individual students

Personal Specifications - Skills Knowledge and Experience

  • Teaching Degree preferred
  • Understanding of effective teaching and learning theory, and practice of, providing effectively for the individual needs of all children through organization, differentiation and learning strategies
  • Proven ability to develop good personal relationships within a team
  • International Experience preferred
  • Understanding of IPC Structure and Philosophy

  • Hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure or equivalent for countries lived in outside of the UK.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils. And the willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required
