Job Description Summary

[What the role is]

An integral part of a dynamic team handling Muis' Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programme.

[What you will be working on]

1) Support the oversight of Muis' Internal Audit and ERM framework, methodologies, policies, processes, and activities

2) Facilitate risk assessment with other departments within Muis Group to identify and assess potential risks, review the risk register, review, and develop appropriate risk mitigation actions

3) Engage other departments within Muis Group to monitor and report Key Risk Indicators

4) Review past incidents / audit findings and propose update to risk register

5) Perform secretariat support for Muis' Senior Management level risk discussions and the Audit and Risk Committee

6) Promote a strong risk culture throughout Muis by:

  • Conducting and delivering risk management related training and events
  • Providing risk advisory on projects and initiatives
  • Disseminating and sharing best practices on risk management
[What we are looking for]

  • Tertiary education in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • 2 or more years of working experience in Audits, Risk Management and Compliance is advantageous, though fresh graduates with no experience are welcome to apply
  • Relevant certifications in risk management (e.g., CERM, CPRM, RIMS) will be advantageous.
  • Experience in Tableau, Python / SQL is preferred but not mandated.
  • An independent, resourceful, and innovative team player
  • Good critical thinking and problemsolving skills, with a broad and balanced sense of perspective
  • Active listening, effective communication, and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders
  • Meticulous and an eye for detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
