JR55355 Global Facilities Cost Program Manager


As a Global Facilities Cost Data Program Manager, you will be responsible for providing the Global Facilities stakeholders the data analytics and information necessary to drive their strategic objective.


You will need to be actively engage with Global and Site Facilities teams, Corporate Finance, Central Planning teams, and other cross functional business partners to develop the Facilities cost data reporting capabilities and establish network solution to ensure facilities cost data accuracy.

This role requires strong data management background, and ability to translate the complex data into concise summary and dashboard.

You should be a detailed oriented person, with the capability of providing clear and qualitative data analysis for higher management to support decision making.

You should possess detailed understanding on cost expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and providing benchmarking. This role also required flexibility and ability to maintain global relationship, excellence communication and presentation skills.

Major Job Responsibilities:

Data Management and Analytics

  • Manage overall Global Facilities Cost data accuracy
  • Develop reporting capabilities that provides stakeholders with indepth understanding of Facilities cost data and execution towards key metrics.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to achieve spending compliance to Business Plan. Drive the Capital Performance to Plan (P2P) program and identify mitigation plan to meet Business Plan.
  • Perform weekly analysis on Facilities cost change driver and summarize changes to the stakeholders.
  • Lead discussion and work with Corporate Finance, Facilities Team, IT, system owner to rectify any data discrepancies and to ensure the data accuracy and maintain data integrity
  • Drive report enhancement initiatives.
  • Provide complex data solution
  • Promote data driven culture
  • Create and manage metrics dashboard and strategy
  • Provide high level of Facilities Cost data to senior leaders for review and decision making.
  • Develop Facilities cost database into a "onestop" platform that enable financial analysis and generating benchmarking reports to identify cost optimization opportunities in alignment with Micron's strategic directions.

System Solution Support

  • Support Site Facilities team on FMS PS, and CALM system related issues
  • Serve as liaison to the Facilities cost data program to align master data governance
  • Maintain, improve, and develop system solutions.

  • Good understanding of Micron's Capital and Expense process (preferable with fundamental knowledge of Facilities operations/engineering, Facilities cost model)

  • Knowledge in Database (e.g. SQL, Snowflake) and Data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau) is advantageous

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree and above specialized in Engineering, Information systems, Business, or Finance or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of experience working with complex data and cost management in semiconductor industries.
