The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the company, managing the accounting team, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role involves financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Financial Reporting:* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
2. *Budgeting and Forecasting:* Develop annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with other departments. Monitor performance against budgets and provide analysis of variances.
3. *Accounts Payable and Receivable:* Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring invoices are processed promptly and payments are collected on time.
4. *Tax Compliance:* Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including timely filing of tax returns, managing tax payments, and responding to tax inquiries.
5. *Cash Management:* Manage cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for operating expenses, investments, and debt payments.
6. *Financial Analysis:* Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
7. *Team Management:* Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including assigning tasks, providing training, and conducting performance evaluations.
8. *Audit Preparation:* Coordinate with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation for annual audits.
9. *Process Improvement:* Continuously review accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
*Requirements:*
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA certification preferred.
Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in accounting or finance.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,oracle Oracle NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
