**Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Entry-Level Golf Coach to join our team. As a Golf Coach, you will be responsible for teaching and instructing beginner adult and junior golfers in the fundamentals of the game. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Beginner Golf Lessons: Develop and deliver instructional lessons to beginner adult and junior golfers, focusing on fundamental skills, including grip, stance, swing mechanics, and proper etiquette.
  • Create Lesson Plans: Prepare structured lesson plans and training programs tailored to the specific needs and skill levels of individual students or small groups.
  • Demonstrate Techniques: Teach golfing techniques, such as driving, iron shots, chipping, putting, and bunker play, using effective demonstrations, verbal instructions, and visual aids.
  • Provide Individual Feedback: Observe and analyze the performance of students during practice sessions and provide constructive feedback to improve their skills and overall golfing abilities.
  • Develop Training Drills: Design and implement various training drills and exercises to enhance students' golfing skills, coordination, and physical fitness.
  • Promote Safety and Etiquette: Instruct students on golf course etiquette, safety guidelines, and rules of play, emphasizing respect for the game, course, and fellow players.
  • Monitor Progress: Track and monitor the progress of students, documenting their skill development and suggesting appropriate adjustments to their training programs.

  • Stay Informed: Stay up to date with current trends, developments, and techniques in golf instruction and coaching through continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Golfing Expertise: Possess a strong background and knowledge of golf, including the rules, techniques, equipment, and etiquette associated with the game.
  • Teaching Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate golfing concepts and techniques to individuals with varying skill levels, ages, and learning styles.
  • Patience and Adaptability: Demonstrate patience, adaptability, and empathy when working with beginner golfers, recognizing and addressing individual strengths, weaknesses, and challenges.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to deliver clear and concise instructions, explanations, and feedback to students.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships and establish rapport with beginner golfers, fostering a comfortable and supportive learning environment.
  • Enthusiasm and Passion: Display a genuine enthusiasm for golf and a passion for teaching, inspiring and motivating students to develop their skills and enjoy the game.
  • Organizational Skills: Capable of creating and organizing lesson plans, training materials, and drills, ensuring efficient and effective use of practice time.
  • Safety Consciousness: Knowledge of safety guidelines and protocols relevant to golf instruction, prioritizing the wellbeing and security of students during lessons and practice sessions.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate the schedules of beginner golfers.
  • Certification (preferred): Possession of relevant golf coaching certifications or qualifications is advantageous but not mandatory for entrylevel positions.
