As a Senior Project Manager in our Markets Technology division, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering complex, cross-functional projects that shape the future of our APAC business.

The initial focus of the role will be driving the onshore China Securities and Futures cos. buildout in China.

Key Responsibilities

:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation and dependencies and drive project execution from initiation to closure
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability, ensuring strong crossfunctional teamwork and alignment to project goals and objectives
  • Effectively communicate project progress, status, and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior management, and provide regular updates on project metrics, risk and dependencies.

Manage the onshore China Securities and Futures build out project which involves various technology teams onshore, in the region and global where applicable. This involves engagement with various stakeholders, development groups. It also involves the maintenance of project plans across the technology teams, maintenance of risks, issues, actions, assumptions and dependencies and escalate when appropriate. Ensure that status is reported in a timely and accurate manner to the relevant stakeholders and regional SteerCo.

:

  • Manage mediumto largescale IT projects that involves business units across Markets, control groups, infrastructure and external groups where necessary. Project may range from business discretionary regional/global project, regulatory and controls.
  • Help facilitate the alignment of technology roadmap to the overall business strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the local and regional business stakeholders, peers and other technology team members both locally, regionally and where appropriate globally.
  • Support Head of Markets IT in regional initiatives & deliverables.
  • Mentor and coach junior project managers, providing guidance and support in project management best practices and methodologies

Technical/Specialist skills/competencies

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering largescale, complex projects in the Capital Markets domain, preferably within a financial services organization
  • Extensive experience in endtoend project management, including project planning, budgeting, resource management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder management
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Exceptional problemsolving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and a resultsoriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (eg. Agile, Scrum, Kanban), as well as project management software
  • Experience in running a number of interrelated projects end to end involving multiple business stakeholders and teams across development, QA, infrastructure and risk and controls that spans planning, execution, control and closure.
  • Highlevel understanding of building low latency, high throughput trading systems.
  • Highlevel knowledge on financials and reporting.
  • Experience in running program/projects in the Markets space. Strong understanding of at least oneasset class and its trading microstructure
  • Proven experience in project status reporting (particularly intended for business audience).
  • Proven experience with analysis and design in a realtime environment, preferably gained in a financial trading systems environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate complex concepts to various types of audience (business and technology) at appropriate level in clear and concise manner

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications are preferred

  • Preferably 10+ years' experience
