About the team

As a Law Enforcement Emergency Response Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our global community by tackling sensitive content and processing reports of content infringement.


Responsibilities:

  • You'll demonstrate operational excellence on a team that evaluates risk, threats, and user privacy in a world centered around timecritical emergency escalations.
  • You'll review and assess inbound emergency escalations from Law Enforcement and other teams.
  • You'll execute instant decisionmaking while analyzing a variety of factors that include imminence of danger, sensitivities, and graphic content and coordinate with several internal and external partners including law enforcement in an attempt to ensure user's safety.
  • You'll operate in a work environment with highly sensitive content that includes child sexual exploitation, graphic violence, selfinjury and suicide, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing.
  • You'll create and articulate written and/or verbal responses to questions from law enforcement, government agencies, and internal teams regarding Emergency Response policy and process.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • You have experience working in operations, trust and safety, or an equivalent environment and have experience with social media, analytical tools, and online research
  • You have proven ability to make important decisions and assess threat and risk independently, and multitask under pressure, responding quickly to changing situations in complex environments without compromising quality
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, should be able to adapt communication style to suit different stakeholders like crossfunctional teams and law enforcement
  • You are able to work weekend days on a rotational basis or a regular schedule of either Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Crisis Management, Government Agencies or Law Enforcement
  • SQL/Data analytics skills will be a huge plus.
