Key Responsibilities

  • Be involved in supporting Internal and External Audit.
  • Inspect Mechanical parts, detect welding and mechanical appearance defects.
  • Use measuring equipment such as Trimos, Profile projector, Hexagonal Arm. Height gauges, Vernier calipers, etc.
  • Read and interpret all drawing symbols and welding symbols.
  • Liaise with external customers and internal teams.
  • Provide technical advice and the best method for improving production work.
  • Support Acceptance Test Plan / Process Management Plan and conduct training.
  • Perform FA, Incoming, Inprocess and Outgoing inspection to meet the delivery schedule.
  • Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated.
  • Ensure maintenance record and Production inprocess record is updated on time.
  • Ensure the implementation of corrective actions/preventive action as a result of weekly Source inspection by customers.
  • Compiling Outgoing Inspection reports to support documents in the customer portal, Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Assist with Document Control
  • To ensure all drawings are latest and filed in a proper manner.
  • Assists/performs other nonroutine duties as assigned by QA Manager

  • Must possess a minimum of a Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Min. 2 years relevant experience in QA.
  • Experience in Machining, Metal stamping, fabrication and related secondary processes (such as welding, plating, and powder coating) industry will be preferred.
  • Good knowledge of auditing skills for ISO9001 and Qualified Internal Auditor experience.
  • Good problemsolving skills and analytical skills i.e. good skills in 5S, 8D methodology, 5why analysis
  • Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
