The Challenges:

  • Leading the development, management and execution of community enabling and empowering platforms, projects, and initiatives.
  • Designing community and patient education programmes to build a community of carers who are equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to take ownership of their health.
  • Leading of the research and ground sensing projects relating to health activation, health literacy and patient empowerment.
  • Facilitating focus group discussions and collating insights to identify opportunities for actionable change.
  • Building and facilitating communities of practice made up of health and social care professionals, patients, caregivers and volunteers.
  • Coleading in the conceptualisation and execution of hospital and community events and regular community dialogue sessions with partners.
  • Managing department resources and implementing programmes, projects and events within set budgets, funding mechanisms and timelines.

What it Takes:

  • Strong passion for population health
  • Min. Degree in Social Sciences / Behavioural Science / Psychology / Social Anthropology or equivalent
  • Min. 8 years of corporate experience or research (healthcare and/or social care sectors)
  • Strategic thinker, ability to lead a team and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment, resourceful and highly resilient.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
  • Good knowledge of social media platforms and website management.
  • Experience in events management and managing stakeholder.
