NIE invites suitable applications for the position of Executive, Centre for Research in Child Development (CRCD). This is a 3-year contract position and may be renewed depending on the Institute’s needs and the individual’s performance.
Responsibilities
- Support Principal Investigators (PIs) in administrative tasks related to human resource, procurement and finance to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Assist in HR processes, including hiring, appointment of consultants, onboarding and staff development.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for symposiums, meetings, retreats and other events.
- Assist in the procurement process, including processing goods receipts and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Handle office operations, including mail distribution and safekeeping of resources.
- Assist in creating marketing materials for events and research-related activities.
- Update digital platforms, including corporate website and social media accounts.
- Perform other job-related duties assigned by the Reporting Officer
Requirements
- Diploma in business, events management or a related field.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a research or academic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with some knowledge of digital and social media communication tools preferred.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and meticulousness.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
