Job DescriptionExecutive, Centre for Research in Child Development (CRCD) Job Summary:
This 3-year contract position may be renewed depending on the Institute's needs and the individual's performance.
- Support Principal Investigators (PIs) in administrative tasks related to human resource, procurement and finance.
- Assist in HR processes, including hiring, appointment of consultants, onboarding and staff development.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for symposiums, meetings, retreats and other events.
- Assist in the procurement process, including processing goods receipts and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Handle office operations, including mail distribution and safekeeping of resources.
- Assist in creating marketing materials for events and research-related activities.
- Update digital platforms, including corporate website and social media accounts.
- Diploma in business, events management or a related field.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a research or academic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with some knowledge of digital and social media communication tools preferred.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and meticulousness.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to learn quickly and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
NIE staff can take chartered buses at their own expense from or near their homes to the NIE campus. This is subject to availability of seats.
