Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior Finance Executive based in our Batam factory, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and adherence to Indonesian tax regulations. This role requires a dynamic individual with hands-on experience in finance and accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Job Description

  • Prepare, review, and ensure the accuracy of accounting entries and schedules in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Perform variance analysis and address ad hoc financial reporting queries and issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Indonesian taxation laws, particularly corporate tax, and support tax reconciliation processes.
  • Develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage and execute month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements and management reports, providing actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including PIDSG and PIDSG-BT, to align financial goals.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to work full-time and independently at the Batam factory.

Requirements

  • A degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, with a proven track record in supervisory roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indonesian taxation laws, especially corporate tax.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent command of English and Bahasa Indonesia (In order to communicate with colleagues, who can only speak in Bahasa Indonesia).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • A team player who can work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
