Roles & Responsibilities

Purpose: Responsible for supporting the Procurement Officers in Purchase Order Management in administrative tasks assigned. Perform Non-Product Related (NPR) Purchasing activities. Making sure the suppliers are paid and returns are processed promptly. All to make sure parts needed by the company are delivered on time.


Key Area of Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Material Management Team Buyers to meet factory's requirements on part deliveries and program deliverables.
  • Assist in execution of change request from planners e.g. project swaps
  • Process documents and arrange for returns of rejected materials, crates, tools and/or jigs from suppliers as per instructed by Buyers.
  • Ensure routine purchasing deliverables are maintained and communicated to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the purchasing and on-time delivery of materials, components and services for Non-Product Related (NPR) Purchasing.
  • Risk Management Surveys – To send, follow up, compile and update tracker; copying and escalate to Buyer if there is no response


Qualification & Experiences:

  • Higher Nitec/Diploma in Supply Chain Management or other relevant discipline
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in procurement related role in manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g. excel, powerpoint
  • Experience or knowledge in indirect purchase will be a plus
  • Good Communication Skills
