The successful candidate is expected tobuild, nurture and maintain the existing technical/ businessdevelopment team which is currently supporting the technologyplatforms and PIs at SIgN, and to establish business and scientificcollaborative networks with biomedical and industry communitiesboth locally and internationally. Additionally, the candidate willprovide mentorship to the business development team inSIgN.

The successful candidate can look forwardto a competitive salary package and resources as well as a dynamic,collegial and collaborative work environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • To bring in business and serviceprojects for the technology platforms.
  • Toinitiate and execute business and scientific collaborations withnon-profit organisations and commercial companies.
  • To build and maintain a strong technical/ businessdevelopment team.
  • To mentor and providesupport to more junior tech/ biz staff.
  • Toassist in corporate functions and other roles as assigned by theExecutive Director.

Job Requirements:
  • At least a Bachelor of Science degree with more than 20years' experience in the Biomedical sector.
  • Must have held leadership positions covering BusinessDevelopment, Technology and Customer Service amongstothers.
  • Possess strong skillsets in bothStrategy Development and Execution.
  • Excellenttrack record of working engagements with both public and privatesectors
  • Excellent written and spokencommunication skills.
  • Experience in auditingis not necessary but would be an addedadvantage.
