Job Summary:
The Corporate Legal Administrator provides essential administrative and operational support to the legal team within a corporate setting. This role ensures the efficient management of legal documents, compliance processes, and corporate governance while assisting in key legal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage legal documents, contracts, and corporate records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate internal and external legal communications, including correspondence with regulatory bodies, external counsel, and stakeholders.
- Organize and schedule legal meetings, draft agendas, and prepare minutes.
- Assist in compliance and regulatory matters, ensuring the company adheres to legal and corporate governance requirements.
- Track and maintain deadlines for corporate filings, contract renewals, and other legal obligations.
- Support the negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts, NDAs, and other legal agreements.
- Conduct legal research to support the legal team with case preparation and policy development.
- Assist in preparing legal reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use.
- Liaise with different departments to ensure smooth legal operations and corporate compliance.
- Maintain an organized database of legal files, policies, and procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in legal administration, corporate law, or a paralegal role is preferred.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, legal procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with corporate governance and regulatory filings is an advantage.
