Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Writing of technical documents for inquiry and purchase order for TOPSIDE equipment packages as per project specification, requirements of industry codes and standards, classification society rules and all relevant regulatory.
  • Evaluates the technical aspects of bids received from suppliers and concludes technical assessment. Make clarification, evaluation and technical comparison of providers' bid, technical analysis of offers.
  • Assists in placing and executing the orders.
  • Review of supplier documents (such as data sheets, drawings) for their completeness, accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensures all technical requirements incorporated in engineering deliverables. Reviews and validates with various disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Approaching and coordinating with vendors for package solutions.
  • Follow-up of vendors and conduct of clarification meetings.
  • Provides engineering support and advice for quality work at supplier shop, construction or commissioning work at site.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering disciplines
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in FPSO background, TOPSIDE scope experience
  • Well versed with regulatory and class requirements.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering design software (e.g. S3D, Autocad)
