Roles & Responsibilities

Job description

  • Render legal advice to the Group on all aspects of operations such as highlighting unfavourable terms and conditions and pursuing remedies
  • Draft, review and/or negotiate all agreements, MOUs and other documents
  • Creating contract templates such as tender documents and PD agreements
  • Lead/manage dispute resolution
  • Manage panel of external lawyers on topics such as litigation general advice
  • Provide intellectual property advice and support
  • Manage Personal Data protection and compliance for the Group
  • Support the compliance team with their policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Reputable LLB or Post-Graduate Diploma in Singapore Laws
  • At least 10 years of working experience in corporate litigation and arbitration work
  • Experience in Corporate Secretariat work
  • Admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore or similar qualification will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with PDPA compliance will be an advantage
  • Excellent command of English, good negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Good English writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High integrity with strong ethics
