Your Job

As a Senior Engineer, Quality, your primary purpose is to initiate and deploy quality strategic plans across Assembly, Stamping, Molding, or Plating. You will facilitate quality problem-solving by providing technical expertise and leadership, ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS). Your role involves analyzing quality data to drive improvements, resolving customer issues promptly, and striving for excellence in line with the Quality policy.


Our Team

You will be part of the DSS division, working closely with various internal departments such as Molding, Stamping, Plating, Incoming QA, Assembly, and Product Development. You'll collaborate with employees at all levels, as well as external sub-contractors and customers, ensuring quality standards are met and maintained.


What You Will Do

  • Initiate and deploy quality strategic plans in specified areas, ensuring alignment with overall objectives.
  • Facilitate quality problem-solving by providing technical expertise and leadership, maintaining compliance with QMS.
  • Analyze internal and external quality data to identify areas for improvement and drive GLSS projects.
  • Resolve customer quality issues swiftly, ensuring satisfaction and meeting specific requirements.
  • Lead teams to review and analyze daily process issues, driving improvements in process, scrap, and yield.
  • Engage with AQP during early product development phases to understand new products.
  • Provide disposition for in-process or finished goods rejects and non-conforming customer returns.
  • Analyze process weaknesses and collaborate with internal and external teams on quality improvement plans.
  • Create, review, and update quality-related documents such as SOPs, control plans, and inspection instructions.
  • Participate in customer complaints investigations, facilitating corrective actions and verifying their effectiveness.
  • Plan and conduct process line audits and participate in compliance audits.
  • Implement error-proofing initiatives and design process qualification test plans.
  • Understand and apply PBM guiding principles to guide behavior and decisions.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Degree or diploma in any engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, basic understanding of GDT or technical drawings.
  • Leadership experience and statistics knowledge.
  • Experience in QMS auditing.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Degree preferred.
  • Relevant experience with QC core tools, SPC, 8D reporting, control plans, PFMEA, APQP, TS16949, ISO9001, PPAP knowledge.
  • Proficiency with statistical tools such as SAP or Minitab.
