Job Overview:
The Environmental Assistant (Cleaner) will help clean and maintain buildings, ensuring they stay tidy and safe. You will perform cleaning tasks, handle waste, and follow all safety rules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning: Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and clean restrooms and other areas.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash bins and make sure waste is disposed of properly.
  • Sanitization: Clean high-touch areas like doorknobs and light switches to keep things safe.
  • Eco-friendly Cleaning: Use environmentally-friendly products to clean when possible.
  • Equipment Care: Take care of cleaning tools and equipment.
  • Safety: Follow safety rules and use cleaning supplies correctly.
  • Help with Special Tasks: Assist with extra cleaning projects when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Location: Site allocation nearest to home
  • Must be able to commit 8 – 9 hours/shift, 5/5.5/6 days work week available
