Position Title: Accountant


Working Hours & Location:

  • Monday – Friday, 8.15am – 5.45pm
  • Bartley MRT, Kim Keat Road,

Salary Range: $4,800 - $6,500

The Role:

  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end financial closing, including reviewing invoices, payments, billings, receipts, and journal entries.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and coordinate intercompany activities to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Oversee finance team members and review management reports, financial statements, and group consolidations.
  • Establish and maintain internal control procedures to enhance accounting and reporting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting, tax filing, and statutory requirements, including GST reports and tax returns.
  • Manage trust-related matters such as preparing instruction letters, setting up new trusts, and liaising with trustees and fund administrators.
  • Plan and control cash flow, budgeting, and project feasibility studies to support business objectives.
  • Monitor loan operations, including facility agreements, payment schedules, and refinancing processes.
  • Assist in system implementations and work with vendors to resolve accounting software issues.
  • Support CFO, CEO, or supervisors with ad-hoc financial tasks as required.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with relevant working experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in managing financial statements, group consolidations, and trust-related activities.
  • Ability to establish and improve internal control processes for better financial oversight.
  • Proficiency in tax filing, GST reporting, and handling audits with external parties.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in cash flow projection and budget management.
  • Familiarity with loan operations, financial agreements, and refinancing procedures.
  • Competency in accounting software and the ability to assist in system implementation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
