Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive to join our finance team. The Accounts Executive will manage the accounts payable processes, ensure timely and accurate record of supplier invoices, and maintain effective communication with vendors. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

•Maintain and update accounts payable and general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately

and timely.

•Process and verify invoices, ensuring all transactions are recorded and allocated to projects correctly.

•Prepare payments to vendors and expenses claims.

•Reconcile accounts payable balances and resolve any discrepancies.

•Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements for multiple bank accounts.

•Maintain records of all bank facilities.

•Maintain fixed assets and all necessary supporting schedules to the accounts.

•Assist in project cost tracking and the preparation of cash flow forecasts and budgets.

•Manage vendor relationships and handle inquiries related to accounts payable.

•Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify financial data.

•Prepare quarterly GST reports for submission to IRAS.

•Prepare month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

•Provide support during financial year-end audits.

•Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.

•Assist with other accounting tasks as required.


Secondary Duties: You will also be responsible for handling and preparing various reports essential to our financial operations and working closely with the Operation Manager to generate weekly and monthly reports.


Required Skills & Abilities:

•Basic accounting qualification.

•Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting; the ability to maintain a full set of accounts is an

advantage.

•Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

•Working knowledge of accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Synergix is an

advantage.

•Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

•Meticulous with good interpersonal and communication skills.

•Possess initiative and the ability to work independently as well as a team player.
