The Industrial Engineer will be based in Changi South reporting to NPI Manager.


Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze production processes, schedules, and workflows to optimize efficiency.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design efficient systems integrating workers, machines, materials, and information.
  • Establish quality control procedures to ensure product standards are met.
  • Manage inventory control and warehouse operations.
  • Develop safety procedures to ensure safe working environments.
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create efficient layouts.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to implement solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience in addition to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or related Industry.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience in setting up factory or area for Cleanroom requirements
  • Proficiency in CAD and simulation software
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of ergonomic principles
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis tools
  • Experience with production planning and control
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience and Knowledge of operating bulky and heavy product : 5Mx7M and 10-15 tons weight
