Roles & Responsibilities

Our client an established asset management firm with presence in Singapore is seeking an expeienced / Senior DBA to manage and maintain their database systems. As a DBA, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, upgrades, maintain new and existing databases (MongoDB , Postgres and SQL Sever). You will work closely with other infrastructure team as well as application team to solve technical issues as well as carrying out implementation and upgrades

Roles :

- Design, implement, create, upgrade, support ,large database database architecture, including clusters, replica sets, and sharding
- Performance monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning,

- managing database clusters and replication

- Work with the development team to provide optimized database design and carrying out performance optimization
- Problem solving and providing long term fixes and problem resolution

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher, priority in Computer Science or related field
- Min 7 years of MongoDB , PostgresSQL database management, support, and database design / architect

- Experience in managing cluster environment and replication

- experience working with large enterprise databsae

- proven experience in performance optimization

- Good working knowledge with Linux

- Good experience in creating new database from scratch as well as carrying out database migration
- Have good communication skills and teamwork spirit, able to effectively cooperate with the development team to solve technical problems
