Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Salary: $12 - $13 Per Hour
Reports To: Finance Manager / Management
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Assistant to support our finance team with accounting and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for individuals with basic accounting knowledge who seek a flexible work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in processing invoices, payments, and expense claims.
• Perform data entry and update financial records in accounting systems.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining proper documentation.
• Handle petty cash and track office expenses.
• Ensure timely filing of accounting documents and compliance with financial policies.
• Support audit and tax filing preparations as needed.
• Perform other administrative and finance-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an advantage.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial reporting.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
