Job Description Summary

This newly created role will lead our research strategy around the Living sector, which is a key growth area for Cushman & Wakefield in Asia Pacific. The role will be to support the living sector growth strategy through a robust thought leadership program, data strategy and client engagement strategy. The role will collaborate with our experts and research teams around the world to bring the best thought leadership, insights to our clients and prospects in Asia Pacific, showing the global connectivity we have within the sector. The role will also input to creating our go-to-market and business strategy around the Living sector across APAC, where to grow and which markets offer the best opportunities for revenue


About the Role:

  • Partnering with our Living specialists, develop a strategic growth plan around the Living sector across the region
  • Directly support the growth strategy for the living sector, with a lens on creating business development opportunities across our priority growth markets
  • Partner with our Organic Growth Team (OGT) using data-drive sales insights to create qualified sales opportunities for the business
  • Develop a thought leadership agenda that builds brand profile for Cushman & Wakefield in the living sector in Asia Pacific, with a primary focus on Australia, North Asia, India and Singapore.
  • Lead the development of an APAC data base to ensure accuracy and consistency in collating key indicators in the living sector across APAC (with an initial focus on BTR and PBSA, then Senior Living)
  • Presenting to clients on the market, developing bespoke reports for key clients and targets
  • Pitching to clients, demonstrating our knowledge of the sector
  • Collecting, tracking and analysing living activity in APAC, identify trends, growth opportunities and challenges, through working with stakeholders and business leaders in the living sector
  • Partner with the marketing team to create opportunities for brand profile for the business via written publications, client presentations, client events, webinars, media and industry speaking opportunities.
  • Collaborating and maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders to develop insights that will assist in business development and other revenue driving opportunities for the APAC living sector at both regional and local market level.
  • Answering data and informational queries from all internal & external stakeholders and being a knowledgeable source of truth for the living sector as a representative of Cushman & Wakefield.
  • Collaborating with the global living teams and researchers in drafting signature global reports and other relevant initiatives.


About You:

  • Minimally with 15 years of experience in a real estate business environment and/or research background with relevant exposure to the living sector.
  • Undergraduate/master’s degree in economics/business preferred.
  • Good understanding of the living industry and asset class.
  • Strong presenter and deep experience in producing successful pitch and RFP materials
  • Highlight proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and data management and analysis platforms, including Power BI.
  • Highly numerate and able to obtain, analyse, interrogate, and interpret, real estate, and socio-economic data.
  • Proficiency in writing sophisticated insights around living sector.
  • Exceptional communication and written skills in English.
  • Experience in content generation and working with PR/marketing team.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and have a proactive, positive approach.
  • Team player and willing to learn.
  • Support cross functional business teams with regards to industry updates, insights, and intelligence.
