Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

1. Strategic Leadership & Quality Management:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure products and services meet the highest industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the design and execution of advanced quality control strategies, integrating global best practices, industry-specific regulations, and customer expectations.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) across all functional areas, optimizing processes, minimizing waste, and ensuring quality at every step of production.
  • Provide high-level guidance on quality standards to senior leadership and other business units, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives.
  • Proactively address quality-related risks and implement effective mitigation plans to protect the company from potential product recalls, regulatory violations, and reputational damage.

2. Operational Excellence & Process Optimization:

  • Lead the optimization of complex operational processes, ensuring maximum efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability while maintaining superior product/service quality.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and integration of advanced operational systems, leveraging digital tools, automation, and AI-driven analytics to monitor performance and drive decision-making.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to enhance end-to-end operations, from supply chain management to delivery, to ensure seamless, efficient workflows.
  • Identify and prioritize key operational inefficiencies, leveraging data-driven insights to implement solutions that improve throughput, reduce cycle times, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive risk management strategy for operational activities, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.

3. Cross-Functional Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performance team of quality and operations professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous development.
  • Set clear performance objectives, deliver ongoing feedback, and implement talent development programs to nurture emerging leaders and enhance overall team capabilities.
  • Facilitate the alignment of team goals with broader organizational objectives, driving a unified approach to achieving company-wide targets.
  • Establish an advanced operational training framework, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to execute their roles effectively.

4. Data-Driven Decision Making & Continuous Improvement:

  • Leverage advanced analytics, business intelligence tools, and real-time data monitoring systems to evaluate key operational performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring the business is continuously optimizing quality and operational performance.
  • Implement predictive and prescriptive analytics models to anticipate quality issues and operational bottlenecks, enabling proactive interventions.
  • Lead regular reviews of process performance, incorporating feedback loops, benchmarking, and root cause analysis to refine processes and ensure a continuous improvement cycle.
  • Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organization, encouraging the use of analytics and real-time insights to enhance overall performance.

5. Strategic Stakeholder Management & Reporting:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on quality and operational performance, as well as long-term improvement plans and goals.
  • Prepare and deliver high-level presentations and reports for executive leadership, board meetings, and external stakeholders, demonstrating the impact of quality and operational initiatives on the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, sales, and customer service, to ensure operational strategies align with customer needs and expectations.

6. Innovation & Technology Integration:

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in technology, quality management, and operational efficiency. Lead the adoption of new technologies, tools, and processes that enhance operational performance and quality standards.
  • Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning, automation) to optimize quality control processes, supply chain management, and overall operations.
  • Drive innovation in operational processes and quality assurance methodologies to enhance competitive advantage and market positioning.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in any field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management and operations leadership, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering results in complex, fast-paced environments.
  • Deep knowledge of industry-specific quality standards, operational methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements. Experience in manufacturing, technology, or a similarly complex industry is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage large-scale projects, and foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Proficient in advanced operational and quality management systems, ERP tools, data analytics platforms, and automation technologies, including RPA, ROMA B2B, CCO. Experienced with revenue trigger processes and tools (Meta), billing trigger processes and tools (CFS), and project delivery.
  • Ability to communicate bilingually in Mandarin and English is essential in order to liaise with Chinese speaking head office, stakeholders, counterparts and customers.
