  1. Analyzing Asian / European market situations and preparing short term trading strategy plans together with the trading team in Tokyo HQ and / or other regions, and present to the top management which will require skills of commucation using Japanese language.
  2. Upon approval of the trading stragegy, prepare trading plans with managers, traders, and assistants in order to set up, execute, and manage the company's portfolio of LNG trades.
  3. Managing of portfolio LNG trades, where deep knowledge of the LNG cargo supply and demand flows are an important prerequisite, together with expertise in ancillary support activities such as chartering of LNG vessels, and management of risk and financial hedges of the trades.
  4. Building a good reputation in the market by executing a good trading plan to exceed customers' expectations, and cultivating excellent relationships with top customers in the market.

Requirements

  1. Having in-depth knowledge and experience of Asia's LNG market trends.
  2. Having knowledge and experience of shipping / chartering practices.
  3. At least 10 years of trading and operation practices in the LNG industry, including proposal and sales skills.
  4. Outstanding negotiation skills with strong ability to close complex deals.
  5. Having legal background and being able to communicate with English speaking lawyers.
  6. Having IT skills, including preparation for presentation materials both in English and Japanese.
  7. Being able to perform technical analysis for calls of LNG vessels, including communication with organizations / terminals, especially in Asia / Middle East.
  8. Having score of TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication): 940.
  9. Frequent travel is expected.
  10. Recognized top University qualification.
