Accounts & Finance:
- Assist in generating sales tax invoices and verify them against Interim Certificates and Purchase Orders.
- Support daily financial transactions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger entries.
- Aid in month-end reconciliation of bank and supplier statements.
- Process petty cash reimbursements and ensure accurate expense allocation.
- Monitor outstanding payments and send Statements of Account (SOA) reminders.
- Verify subcontractor/vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation is in place.
- Review worker wages prepared by HR and upload them to Internet banking for management approval.
Admin & Compliance:
- Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, mail processing, and answering calls.
- Assist in preparing supporting documents for audits.
- Collect timesheets and assist in the allocation of project costs for staff salaries and worker wages.
- Ensure compliance with accounting, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
- Provide assistance with company events.
Requirements:
- Possess a Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must experience in construction industry
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to multitask, and be a good team player.
