Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

' Key roles involve developing menus for Indian / Malay Food , training staff, and overseeing food preparation.

' Responsible in overseeing kitchen operations and managing kitchen staff.

' Ensure all food prepared in the kitchen meets the restaurant's quality standards.

' The Chef is responsible to ensure that the kitchen operates within the budget and that all expenses are properly recorded.

' Responsible for maintaining inventory of food, beverages, and supplies.

' Responsible to oversee food preparation in the kitchen, ensure that all dishes are prepared with quality and taste in a timely manner.

' To ensure that the kitchen complies with all local regulations. This includes health and safety regulations, food handling regulations, and any other relevant regulations.

' Ready to work in rotational holidays and ready to work in any shifts.

Requirements:

· Proven 3 years experience as a Chef in Indian / Malay restaurant

· Exceptional proven ability in kitchen management

· Outstanding communication and leadership skills

. Understand Indian and Malay Food culture and techniques

· Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes

· Maintain professional grooming and appearance and act as a role model according to established grooming and appearance policy

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks responsibly

· Thorough knowledge of workplace safety, health policies and procedures
