Job Details:
- Prepare monthly accounts closing for a company owning and running an office building and ensure adherence to month-end and year-end closing deadlines.
- Prepare and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Prepare quarterly GST submissions and ensure timely filing.
- Prepare financial and management reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collate all necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
- Oversee cash flow management and cash flow budgeting, ensuring optimal liquidity for operations and projects.
- Oversee tax filings and support the preparation of tax returns.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or a relevant qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience handling a full set of accounts.
- An understanding of various types of income, lease surrender, and rent reconciliation.
- Ability to use and understand property systems and processes
- Ability to set up accounts in new accounting software
- Ability to understand duties performed by Property Managers, rent billing, collection of rent
- Ability to use and understand property systems and processes
- Prefer candidates with working experience in the real estate section or accounting for large-scale projects.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Proactive, independent, meticulous, and detail-oriented.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
