Job Title: Office Manager

About the Company:

Our client is a leading oil and gas conglomerate with a strong global presence. With its own refineries, the company is expanding its trading operations in Singapore. To support this growth, they are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee administrative, HR, and operational functions in the Singapore office.

Key Responsibilities:1. Office Administration & Operations:
  • Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the Singapore office, ensuring efficiency in operations.
  • Manage office supplies, vendor contracts, and facilities, ensuring a well-maintained working environment.
  • Liaise with building management and service providers on office maintenance and compliance matters.
2. Human Resources & Payroll:
  • Handle HR operations, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, and employee documentation.
  • Administer payroll processing, leave management, and employee benefits in compliance with local labor laws.
  • Support performance review processes and HR policy implementation.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee queries on HR matters.
3. Executive & Secretarial Support:
  • Provide administrative support to senior management, including calendar management and travel arrangements.
  • Organize meetings, prepare reports, and handle confidential documents.
  • Assist with corporate governance requirements and regulatory filings as needed.
4. Finance & Compliance Support:
  • Work closely with finance teams on expense tracking, invoices, and budget management.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations related to employment, office operations, and data protection.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in office management, HR, or administration, preferably in a trading or commodities firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and payroll processes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Experience in a multinational environment.
