Who We Need

The Retail Officer will be responsible for assisting in the overall operation of the Retail Pharmacy by ensuring that walk-in customers/patients’ requests are processed accordingly and daily sales records are updated regularly.

The responsibilities are as stated below.

  • Set-up shelves with merchandise and merchandising aids when new vendors come on board / rotation of floorplan / promotion execution.
  • Assist in ordering / maintaining and updating expiry date records of all merchandise / monitoring of stocks and inventory control.
  • Conduct merchandising training.
  • Assist in cashiering duties.
  • Assist Pharmacist in processing and preparing walk-in prescriptions, Pharmacy-Only sales and the sale of other retail
  • merchandise.
  • Ensure that product information like price, barcode and Oracle codes are maintained and updated regularly and accurately.
  • Monitoring retail sales record monthly.
  • Planning of promotional activities and Co-ordination of Retail Roadshow Promotion and management of promoters’ activities.

How to Succeed

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Passed Pharmacy Technician Course.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in hospital or Retail pharmacy.
  • 5 days’ work week.
