Manager - Health Economics & Reimbursement, APAC

As the HE&R Manager, APAC, based in our Singapore office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing market access strategies across the Asia-Pacific region. This position will support the Regional Director in driving growth and market penetration for our diverse portfolio of medical devices, this would include but is not limited to expanding our product portfolioâs market presence, navigating complex access landscapes, and securing reimbursement approvals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement market access strategies for new and existing medical products in the APAC region, aligning with the companyâs overall business objectives.
- Conduct Health Technology Assessments (HTA), pricing analysis, and reimbursement strategies in various APAC markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, clinical, regulatory, marketing, and medical affairs, to ensure integrated market access approaches.
- Engage with and manage relationships with government officials, health insurance payers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, to facilitate policy advocacy and establish robust reimbursement strategies.
- Manage projects related to Early Value Assessments (EVA) for upcoming R&D programs in the region.
- Provide expertise in health economics to support the regional teams in negotiations and payer communications.
- Analyze market trends and health policy changes in the APAC region, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver presentations at internal and external meetings, representing the companyâs market access interests.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members in the Health Economics & Reimbursement department.

Requirements
- A masterâs degree in health economics, Public Health, Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in market access, health economics, or a related role in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry, preferably with a focus on the APAC region.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful market access strategies.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare systems, reimbursement landscape, and regulatory environment in the APAC region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in additional APAC languages being an advantage.
