ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a highly-driven individual with a degree in Engineering, Math, or Finance for an immediate start to join our Energy Markets & Energy Services team. You will be joining a distributed team with team members from different countries.

Functional Scope

ESEM provides electricity portfolio management, internal support to the sales teams, account management, energy market analysis, and preparation of all required data to submit energy tenders, both new and renewal, to retailer partners – across Australia, Singapore, and Philippine energy markets, as required.

Ensure daily systems requirements meet the needs of the business and develop ongoing improvements to ensure we maintain our competitive advantage.

Role Skills and Experience

• A Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Finance, or equivalent 
• Skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications
• Possess advanced literacy and numeracy skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Have an eye for detail and accuracy and task orientation
• Ability to effectively operate as part of a multi-skilled team
• Demonstrated time management skills
• Flexibility in responding to changing demand
• Excellent interpersonal skills, e.g. verbal and written communication
• Experience in analysing energy usage and demand factors, a plus

Role Responsibilities

• Managing customers’ electricity portfolio, including –
  1. Assist in the production of Tenders / Product Proposals to Customers
  2. Using and developing spreadsheet models
  3. Model customer’s energy usage where necessary
  4. Energy market analysis
  5. Research and gather market information
  6. Develop and manage clients’ risk and electricity portfolio
  7. Keeping knowledge up-to-date about electricity markets, current news, and conditions
  8. Preparing reports and recommendations on electricity portfolio management
  9. Develop professional working relationships with partners / retailers
• Perform office administration services to –
  1. Assist delivery of services to customers;
  2. Assisting Energy Markets manager in account management
• General Office duties as required
• Work in accordance with: legal and statutory requirements, company policies and procedures
• Create and maintain Engineering ISO documentation as required
• Commit to following the corporate core ethics of “Smart, Rigorous, and Trustworthy”
• Work within the constraints of the company quality system and workplace health and safety measures
• Perform tasks in a timely, cost-effective, and auditable manner
