Work you will do 

This role is with Deloitte Digital Southeast Asia. Across all clients and sectors, we believe great customer experiences create greater impact.  That elevating the human experience creates enduring value, for the organization, for the customer, for society, for all.

 

We are looking for a Commerce Solutions Architect, to help our clients design, build, and scale their digital technology capabilities to create great customer experiences.

 

You will:

  • Work closely with Sales and Delivery Teams to design and deliver enterprise eCommerce solutions for our clients across SEA 
  • Provide architectural and big-picture oversight for development of composable and headless ecommerce implementations using vendor technology platforms and custom builds
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on the design of commerce stacks (including composable headless solutions) and ecosystems, while integrating components built by developers and ensuring architectural integrity of the system
  • Responsible for coordinating the delivery of professional services to clients. This includes overall planning, organizing, designing, integrating, and delivery of all services prioritized in alignment with the client's expectations and business needs.
  • Lead a team of solution partners and/or client developers and specialists to meet specific client requirements; responsible for ensuring an optimal system architecture to facilitate the successful completion of implementations
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and coaching to solution partners and client developers regarding the implementation and maintenance of ecommerce solutions based on digital technology best practices.

Enough about us, let's talk about you

 

If you are someone with: 

  • Minimum of 8 years of working experience with at least 3 years relevant architecture experience, a full-stack architect, with experience in architecting and implementing ecommerce platforms, mobile apps, web apps, CDP and other digital technologies (Sitecore, Commercetools, or similar)
  • Practical experience implementing digital technologies (client- and service-side) is key, and affinity to remain connected to the code is required
  • Experience working sales and pre-sales teams to develop technical solutions in proposals
  • Experience with mobile, web, and other devices.
  • Able to lead and execute DevOps process, with deep hands on expertise in CI/CD.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading onshore and offshore tech teams
  • Leading by example, and hands-on, ready to dive into development when needed
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to effectively convert business requirements into technical outcomes for varied audiences
  • Able to convey technical ideas in business terms
  • Global thinker that can discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future
  • Experience in SEA/APAC
