Gym Manager

Main Duties1.      Build a good rapport and relationship with all members and guests.2.      Deal with customer enquiries in a friendly and efficient manner.3.      Ensure that all financial transactions are completed systematically, including security, processing and banking and liaise with the finance team as and when needed.4.      Manage the door entry and exit system.5.      To actively promote and sell the various classes available.6.      Maintain and update the membership database system.7.      Responsible for the safety and enjoyment of our customers whilst using the club facilities.

 Other Responsibilities

1.      Assist with stock taking and ensure products are displayed neatly around the reception area.2.      Support coaches in the administration of classes according to the Registration Procedure and Trials Procedure within the SOP.3.      Liaise with coaches on a regular basis to ensure participants are attending relevant classes.4.      Promote classes, birthday parties, camps, and other additional activities at The Swaga Gym and ensure new and potential bookings are forwarded to the relevant parties.5.      Ensure the smooth execution of birthday parties at The Swaga Gym, from first communication to conclusion, overseeing and continually improving processes.6.      Any other ad hoc duties directed by The Swaga Gym Management. 

Role Requirements

1.      Maintain a high standard of personal appearance.2.      Be punctual and have a positive attitude to attendance.3.      Maintain a high standard of conduct and behavior that is sensitive to the Client base particularly when dealing with the children.4.      Assist with facility maintenance and the overall presentation of the Gym.5.      Be a team player, working with all members of The Swaga Gym.6.      Participate in company appraisals and undertake identified development opportunities on an annual basis.7.      Respect confidentiality always.8.      Complete ad hoc tasks to be agreed upon with the Management team.

Qualifications1.      More than 3 years of experience in office/department supervision.2.      Strong leadership and management skills.3.      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.4.      Ability to work independently and as part of a team.5.      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.6.      Commitment to customer service.
