Work you’ll do

 

The candidate will work with a team of audit & advisory specialists that focus on capital market transactions work related including initial public offerings (“IPO”), merger & acquisitions, due diligence within Assurance Department. This includes working with project teams to deliver end-to-end services to our clients with a focus on provide insights and navigate through roadblocks in their capital market transactions. He or she will also look forward to other audit services to a portfolio of diversified clients comprising publicly listed companies, MNCs, local clients.

 

The senior manager role involves the following areas:

  • Leading project teams and working independently
  • Reviewing and oversight of project deliverables
  • Working together with Directors and Partners to prepare proposals for client pursuits
  • Working together with Directors and Partners to prepare presentation materials for client meetings, workshops and discussions
  • Managing and coaching junior team members
  • Actively support the growth and development of the advisory services.

Requirements

 

The candidate should possess a degree in accounting with relevant professional qualifications with at least 8 years of relevant audit or accounting advisory experience in a professional practice. The candidate should also possess the following:

 

  1. A pragmatic and innovative approach to problem solving and good analytical skillset;
  2. Ability to adapt to change and able to contribute new ideas
  3. Good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”) (e.g., audit or accounting advisory);
  4. Keen interest in capital market;
  5. Good proficiency in the English language – written and verbal;
  6. Basic proficiency in the Chinese language – spoken; and

 

The following would be a plus:

  1. possess audit/accounting experience; and
  2. have prior experience in IPO or M&A projects.
