Overview

AVP/Director, Prime Brokerage Products Development (API-Driven Solution, Wealth Management, Fintech)

Responsibilities
  • Product strategic planning
    • According to the company's strategic objectives, formulate medium and long-term development plans for financial products;
    • Conduct in-depth research on industry dynamics, market trends and user needs to provide strategic support for product direction.
  • Product design and management
    • Lead the overall design of financial products, including product architecture, functional modules and core processes;
    • Oversee product life cycle management from demand research and design to development and online operation, ensuring ongoing optimization;
    • Collaborate with technical, operational, marketing, legal and risk teams to ensure product compliance and implementation;
    • Coordinate cross-departmentally to promote resource integration and ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.
  • User needs and market analysis
    • Collect user feedback and market data to understand user needs and optimize user experience;
    • Monitor industry competitor dynamics and provide product competitiveness analysis and improvement recommendations.
  • Team management
    • Build and manage the financial product team and develop members’ professional capabilities;
    • Set team goals and monitor progress to ensure efficient operation;
    • Collaborate with risk control and legal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and risk control standards;
    • Develop and optimize risk control strategies to reduce potential risks in product operations.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or above; preferred majors: finance, economics, computer science or related fields.
  • More than 8 years of relevant experience in Payments or financial industry products, with more than 3 years in management;
  • Familiar with Wealth Management and Prime Brokerage business models and product forms.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and market insight with a deep understanding of industry development trends.
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to think through business logic for complex project planning.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and cross-departmental collaboration skills.
  • Familiar with relevant laws and regulations, with risk control and compliance mindset.
  • Experience in product management at well-known payment or financial institutions.
  • Familiar with cutting-edge technologies such as API, Core Banking Ecosystem, big data or crypto in the financial industry.
  • Other relevant qualifications as applicable.
